    Lorena  Ruiz de Villa has over 30 years of industry experience in Modern and Contemporary international Art, across both primary and secondary markets.
     
    She received a Degree in Art history at the University of Barcelona, Spain, and  a Postgraduate degree on “Art Galleries and Museum Studies” at Manchester University, Great Britain.
     
    Lorena started working as a private dealer, and made a collection for ICO, Instituto de Credito Oficial, Madrid: “Una colección de escultura con dibujo” (a sculpture collection with drawings). At the beginning of the 90s, she became partner with Désiré Feuerle at the gallery Feuerle & Ruiz de Villa, Köln, Germany, that they runned together for few years.
     
    In 2000 she opened an office and showroom in Barcelona next to La Pedrera by Gaudi. Some years later, she moved to a bigger space in a land mark modernist building dating 1932 by architect Duran Reynals, today´s headquarter for her art advisory company.
     
    While living in Madrid, she travels extensively around the world to the see the  important international exhibitions, art fairs, biennials, museums and galleries.
